First, I have to say that I love this module. Especially that it allows users to conduct proximity 'searches' for nodes that don't necessarily have zipcodes associated with them. One thing that would make it even more useful would be if it were possible to sort the view using the distance field/column. As best I can tell, this is not currently possible.

Sounds like a nice feature to have. I haven't done much with the location views module yet, but I thought it was a feature that was in there already...
