I was working with this install and everything was going great. Then I tried adding a custom logo to the theme (through the upload tool in the theme settings) and it locked me out of the site completely, can't find the page at all. If I clear my browser cache and cookies (or use another browser) I can reach the site, but logging in brings the same error back. Not sure how to fix this if I can't even login to the site. I tried deleting the logo file, but no change. Thanks.

I encountered this issue as well. However, pages that are not the homepage, appeared as normal for me, including the admin overlays. I was able to use the following workaround to disable the custom image:

  • Visit the /user page for your site (e.g., the main URL with /user at the end
  • Login to the site as normal, which will likely redirect you to a blank page
  • Append an existing (or even non-existing, likely) page's URL to the main page, such as your_site's_main_url/services
  • The page should load, and the admin bar should be visible
  • Go to Appearance > Settings > Logo Image Settings and check "Use the Default Logo"

Obviously, the underlying issue is not resolved in this case, as you're just reverted to without the custom logo, but the site should be working normally again (it was for me).

Hope this helps.

Yes, that did work. Now, how do I fix the problem that caused it? Can't really do much with this unless I can change the logo. Thanks.

@kirkcaraway, are you still having this issue with Beta 3?
