I've had a hard time setting FTP as storage on a Media Temple DV server. I feel like I must be doing everything right, using the same settings that are working for my FTP software. It just gives me all red boxes for all the form fields.

Is anyone else having problems with FTP? Is in buggy right now in these dev versions?

I wish there was some documentation with thorough examples. Or a video tutorial somewhere. This module seems important enough to be covered pretty thoroughly.

Every FTP server is a bit different. Storage API's FTP service may need to become more flexible to handle different servers, etc.

Vsftp is very common and powerful, I suggest people to use that.

Vsftp is what I used to develop the ftp service.

Status: Fixed » Closed (fixed)
