Issue Summary
I'm willing to help, but I'm very much a novice - but I'd love to see this module updated for use with Drupal 5.x.
Thanks.

I need nmoderation for Drupal 5.
I am in the middle of the port...
I was not aware of the other CVS patches since 4.7.x-1.x-dev but I will try to merge them...
#2
The patch is not finished yet, It shows the forms but the forms are note received correctly....
#3
I have found the 5.x branch of nmoderation in the anonymous CVS. I will be testing it and I will send corrections if needed....
Just in case, I am uploading the patch from CVS branches DRUPAL-4-7 to DRUPAL-5 just to make clear the patch I uploaded earlier is obsolete. Further patches will be sent against DRUPAL-5 branch.

Sending a vote works.
Deleting a vote fails as in issue #60144: Can't Delete Votes. It should ve resolved in that issue.
Editing a vote seems not to be doing anything. It should be resolved in issue #60144: Can't Delete Votes.
Menu items seem to be misplaced. I will fix them.
Moderation matrix settings seems to be boken. I will fix it.
#5
Fixed misplaced menu items and broken moderation matrix form.
#6
I have the module working in Drupal 5 for the last two days. 180K pageviews a day.
The module is usable.

#8
Anybody can port this to D6?
#9
I will be porting nmoderation to Drupal 6 next week.
I will need to fix some issues with the votingapi after following the porting instructions.
I wish Drupal people gave me ownership of this module so I could commit releases for Drupal 5 and Drupal 6 but it's their decission; I can keep sending patches as I've been doing.

I don't know how many users out there are still using D5 (stats here say ~14.000) and how many of them ore using this module, but if we want to be fair about it we should be having a different issue about D6 instead of hijacking this one.

...there you go: #861786: port to Drupal 6.x
PS: supporting new platform versions sounds more like a task rather than a new feature request.
