i'm having major problems getting mini panels to work, in the sense that even though skinr options are available none of them seem to work.. (eg coloured header, rounded border, block icons etc)

the standard 'node panel' functionality works fine but i want to use mini panels, as i want to add some content to sidebars (eg in 2 columns, side by side). and it's important that i also be able show a nice consistent style across all page elements.

i've tried pretty much everything, clean installs, minimal modules etc... if anyone can help or suggest viable workarounds i'd be very grateful.

This can be closed, whatever the problem it's with either 'panels' or 'skinr' (or maybe ctools), as the same problem exists with different subthemes & theme engines.
