johngriffin commentedHi Nicholas,
The project has been on hiatus for the last couple of months, but it's now back under active development. There is code already available on github:
https://github.com/sidewinderlabs/linked-data-platform
https://github.com/sidewinderlabs/dataShuttle
The LDP has come about by us trying to abstract out some of the things we've been doing for the dataShuttle project. It is possible to install the LDP on it's own but at the moment it doesn't really come with much. The dataShuttle project however has a lot more going on, but is built on top of the LDP, to deal with with a specific use case. There are some bits in dataShuttle which I'm sure you won't be interested in, and some bits that need to be abstracted and moved out to the LDP. This should be happening over the next couple of months, but we also have a bit of a decision to make as to whether we're going to move to Drupal 7.
If you're interested in how you can integrate with SPARQL in Drupal, then you could install dataShuttle, follow the instructions on the wiki, and have a look at what's going on by all means.

niccolox commentedok great. will check it out
I became really interested in the potential of Virtuoso a few years back, but never found a way of practically integrating it with my hum drum chores. A Drupal-Virtuoso linked data platform VirtualBox image would be really cool.
