Event creation is working fine without creating a ticket. Creating a ticket for the event breaks event creation.

Needs a fix before the next beta release.

Ticket can now be created with the event.

Sorry to have to reopen this, but I've just installed this module and am having the same issue as the OP. Can create a new event, and a ticket, in draft mode. But when setting the event status to LIVE, (and then save node), I get message saying, "You must create a ticket for this event if you want it to be Live."
