Show unpublished node settings works backwards to what should be expected

I am using linkit and need to display unpublished nodes in the autocomplete results.

If I tick the box in /admin/settings/linkit for "Show unpublished nodes in the result" then only published nodes are returned (exactly the opposite of what is wanted). This behaviour seems to have been carried through to the other branches.
