The link to right permissions for the files directory is broken. It's trying to point to: http://drupal.org/installer_help/081/files_perms which gives a 404.

It possibly should point to: http://drupal.org/node/34025

This was taken care of 10/03/2007 - 14:08 by add1sun where the following change was made:

removed bad link and added text about removing vs. overwriting old files
