There should be an option to set the body lenth per language.

If you use for. ex. Thai then you gonna run out of characters very
soon if it is set to 500 while its quite enough for English.

Makes lots of sense. However Drupal 6 was EOL-ed in 02/2016, no additional fixes will be added ; so closing.
