to eliminate incorrect variations on city name, country name conference names, etc, those values should come from a drop down list to insert the values from a pre-defined list of city, country etc. If the entry is not in the database then it should add it and then it will be available for the next biblio entry.

As I mentioned elsewhere, there will soon be autocomplete functions attached to all these input fields, so this should address this issue.
