Description
Simple Clean is a simple and stripped clean theme for Drupal.
The theme contains a cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that can be exploited when posting comments.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with the permission "post comments".
Versions affected
- 7.x-1.2 and prior
Drupal core is not affected. If you do not use the contributed Simple Clean theme, there is nothing you need to do.
Solution
Install the latest version:
- If you use the Simple Clean theme for Drupal 7.x upgrade to Simple Clean 7.x-1.3
