Sorry if this is categorized incorrectly. I wasnt sure where to put this issue.
So, I have two websites up and running- one is drupal website and the other is a non-drupal website. I want to merge the non-drupal website into my drupal website and make my drupal website the primary website. I already have all the themes, modules, database, etc setup for my primary drupal website.
I have been trying hard to figure out how to merge my non-drupal website, but every post that I find seems very confusing. Heres the steps I have taken so far:
1. Added a folder {non-drupal website} in /sites
2. Copied settings.php from {drupal website} and pasted it in sites/{non-drupal website}
3. When I browse to www.{drupalwebsite}/{non-drupal website} , it doesnt show me the drupal install page
More information: I dont want to create two different database for my websites. Virtual host is already setup for my server. I have MySQL access to server.
Please Help!! Can someone lay out clear steps for installation?
