ok - i installed the openid module and picked this module to turn on:
openid_sreg Adds support for OpenID Simple Registration.

I did not pick the client or server.

Where is the new login form for the openid?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

The sreg module handles capturing profile fields. You need to turn on the main OpenID consumer module, which exposes a block that you can turn on.

thank you - it appears to be working now - tho the username shows as "http://www.xyz.com/sd....." - anyway to "pretty" that up? Otherwise it's a waste to me because no one will be able to tell the difference between each other.

when the name is say sdarn

looks the same as
http://www.xyz.com/sd...
when this username is say sdopollock

You're still working with the development version. There isn't an official release yet. The released version will use nicknames.
