Levelos: MailChimp module is really great, and I like the 2.x version, it's match better then the first version.
In the past month I worked on a module, for create and send campaigns from Drupal nodes. Now it's almost ready to release.
I've read Your article about the rewriting of MailChimp module, and there in the roadmap You mentioned campaign creation as a feature. So I think my module can be helpful, and when you think, it can be a part of the MailChimp module (in this case, please contact with me), if not, I will contribute it as an individual module.
Here is the project: http://drupal.org/project/mcc

emptyvoid commentedAnyone else able to checkout from the git repo?
I'm getting a notice that the repo is corrupt and or empty!
Any plans to review/refactor this contribute for inclusion into the dev branch?

levelos commentedHey folks - I haven't been keeping up with this thread, but there's now a mailchimp_campaign module as part of the core MailChimp module. It's currently only in the dev release, although we'll be releasing of a new version of the module this week. There's a bit of overlap, but we're generally taking a very different approach, namely that a campaign can be created from multiple nodes in conjunction with other content. Once a campaign has been sent, there's stats available for it. Hopefully folks will find utility in both. I'm closing this ticket for now.
