I have an issue that was brought up back in May. The issue can be found at http://drupal.org/node/62017 I am just curious if anything has happened since May when this was abandoned.

I created a small patch which gets the admin block from the main content and adds it to the menu block. Perhaps it can be added to the gallery module until a solution is added to gallery2?

Is this still an issue? You should see the links (add album, edit album, etc.) in the 'Gallery Navigation' block. Thats at least how it works for me. Only the 'Admin Options' bar in 'Site Admin' is not available in the block ... I'm marking this a 'feature request' to get some more comments and reviews ...
