Anonymous (not verified) commentedThe selected file /home/thecrazy/public_html/files could not be copied.
All of a sudden I'm getting this error. I've check the chmod permissions on "files" and they are 777, and 775 on "images" I tried to change the setting on "images" but the OS wouldn't let me. I have my own server with full permission,

gopal.vasudev commentedSame problem. I "Create Content", then "Image", and give a title and on the second input line "Image:", I try to upload an image from the hard drive. This gives the same error. Selected file //public_html/files could not be copied. The permissions are recursively set to 777.
I also tried to set the image to a file in "//public_html/files/images/", by entering /images/, with the same error.
Any help will be appreciated.

simeYou cannot attach images to images. Go into Admin-> content types and edit the image type and disable "attach images"
