I have 4 products that are all related to eachother via the UC Upsell module. I add one to the cart, then go to my cart. I see the three other items in the Upsell Cart Pane. If I add one of the Upsell items to my cart, the cart updates (with or without the cart page Ajaxified) with the new product, however, all the other Upsell items disappear.

Why does this happen?

It seems that the AJAx call to update cart kills the Upsell block. If you relaod page Upsell block loads normally? Have you tried with Garland theme? May be related to custom theme.

+1 Experiencing the exact same thing.

Garland does not seem to fix the problem.

Not only the Upsell block disappear but the page's h2 title as well.

How can I disable ajax load on related items block? Disabling the ajax cart does not seem to disable the related products pane.

Just want to add a related issue...
I have Upsell items on the /cart page. When I change quantity of an item in the cart then click the "Update Cart" button, all the Upsell items at the bottom of the page disappear.

I also have the "Estimate Shipping cost" option on the /cart page, and it too disappears after clicking the "Update Cart" button.
