Before I started working on this project, my client set up hosting with doteasy.com. When I talked to them, they said that no one has been able to run drupal on one of their sites.
I got it working, somewhat, except that when I try to install the view module the whole site breaks. I just get blank pages for every page I go to. If I delete views from the modules directory everything works again. Does anyone have any insight or alternatives that I could use to views?

could be exceeding the php
could be exceeding the php memory resource limit. You could ask the host if it could be increased, or try setting it through php_ini, but i doubt they will let you,
Do you have a local copy working on your home machine? At least this way you could eliminate some potential causes.
