Flexinode, taxonomy and i18N modules - translation possible for custom content?

Issue Summary

I am unable to make a custom flexinode content item (a lawyers directory entry) work with i18n translation module (languages are French/English) and taxonomy module.

The different law categories that I set up and translate under the category - terms do not appear in the translation of the custom flexinode content item (lawyers directory entry). Also the custom headings ie phone, fax etc., for the custom item are not in the .po file.

Am I missing something here or do these modules not work together to create translated flexinode content?
