If I create a new node with the "Photoblog" the Frontpage-Value is set to the node of this photoblog-page. So the Users will see only this last photoblog on the frontpage and not the usual Frontpage with the 6 latest news and photoblogs.

Everytime I enter an new entry with the "photoblog" I have to set back the startpage value in the "administer/website-information" manualy back to "/node/ ".

That's a feature. It's disabled by default so you must have enabled it yourself. Just disable it in the Photoblog settings.
