After receiving a number of cron failures on a site using this module, I did some research to find out why. It turns out the Google Base API has been deprecated in favor of the Content and Search API's. (http://googlemerchantblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/update-on-google-base-api...) It appears that the base site/servers have been taken offline as of July 1, 2011.

I'm wondering if there is currently support for the these newer API's and I'm just missing it, or if it is planned. If not, It's probably a good idea to close this project or at least make a note of this on the project page. Classifying this as critical just because it's a 100% showstopper (though obviously not the fault of this module).
