Hi folks, I'm a noob just trying out Drupal and Ecommerce so this may be pilot error ;-) Apologies if so, spank me and point me in the right direction...

Anyway, went through the install, everything okay (on v3, tried the dev release 22 Feb but it crashes out on Store install, separate bug). One of the main things I thought was cool was the ability to change any node into a product, eg an Image node, but when I do that I then can't update the price of the resultant product - it's fixed at 0.00?

Is it just me missing some setting somewhere? I can update prices of other 'native' products okay.
I looked back through the bug list but didn't see anything about it - maybe it's a well known issue that's in the pipeline, if so again apologies for not reading the appropriate documentation.

i'm tried with both beta4 and the dev version, and i'm having this same problem. something i'm missing?

lemme clarify--this is only a problem for me when it's a cck-based apparel product with subproducts. if it's a cck tangible product then i am indeed able to update the price.

I have found the problem in that the validation for prices was not be run on a converted node.
