I'm working on a site running Drupal 5 and would like to do something that Flexinode would be perfect for. However, it looks like Flexinode doesn't support 5 yet. Are there any other good options for creating custom forms and content types similar to what can be done with flexinode?

CCK and Views together add a lot of power to Drupal, be sure to review the Views module as well
