I have a system on a website in which users can select taxonomy terms from a certain vocabulary using the "Profile Taxonomy" module. And then we can allow him access to those terms using the "TACL" module.
The terms in that vocabulary has been protected by the TACL module. So, I shall have to manually enter the terms the user has selected during registration in the TACL configuration area on the user account page to allow users to view content only from those terms.
I want to automate this process. When the user selects taxonomy terms during registration from that vocabulary, his access permissions should be automatically set in the TACL module to allow him to view content from those terms instantly without the need for someone to manually create the access control system.
This is what I think that can be done. I am open for a new system if someone has any other idea to do this job. The basic job is:
1. The user registers and selects taxonomy terms from a specific vocabulary to view content from those terms.
2. The user then logins and see his dashboard (Currently a view block of terms inserted in a panel page overriding the user profile url/page).
3. The dashboard only contains the terms the user has selected during registration.
The above process has been done by using the "Profile Taxonomy" and "TACL" modules. And it is manual. I want to automate this process.
