more freindly labels for items

i really like the module. still learning how to use is correctly but already had some problem with navigation. It's a little problematic when all items are referenced with their node ID - makes some pages hard to understand (imagine having classes shown as 1, 3, 13, 14 instead of their friendly names)

Is here a easy way to fix most of this behavior so classes and lessons ???

Also it there a way to get the username/password printed in a way or disable the requirement for e-mail since our local governmental policy prohibits using emails for students.
