nigelcunningham commentedHave you tried current -dev? I'm unable to reproduce the issue there. I'm using 36b839b0ff647df5ba533638789a232caabda3cb (1.x-beta2) with no local changes.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedThe problem is missing the permission toggle for allowing sticky posts. The permission labelled as "Make posts sticky" is actually the 'promote posts' permission. Patch against to fix this attached.
Edit: This bug won't show up in testing unless you're using a non-UID-1 user.
