Hiding a block title requires checking the box to override the title, and then typing in ''. This is a remnant from blocks - which are dumb. How about something similar to the way cck does their labels in views:
(radio) Hide title
(radio) Default title: [actually show default title here]
(radio) Override title [text field to override only appears if radio selected]

Let's try that again...

Hiding a block title requires checking the box to override the title, and then typing in 'none'...

You don't need to type in <none> You should be able to just leave the title blank; checking override and putting in a blank title does work, I use it rather a lot.

Though I certainly don't mind switching it to a radio, it might be a touch complex to update safely. Will give this thought.
