I can't find anywhere in the modules settings where I can filter which users are added to the sitemap based on roles. My use case if for a multi-seller ecommerce site. We would like users with the role 'sellers' to appear in the sitemap, but we don't want just any user to appear in the sitemap. Hope I didn't overlook a setting somewhere.

This also does not work in 6.x-2.0-beta3, although I think it's supported in 6.x-1.2.

There's a wiki page for 5.x but I do not see the sitemap settings when I edit a role: http://drupal.org/node/266365

I am also looking for this feature to be included.
Need roles to limit the inclusion of profiles in the sitemap.

Exactly the same for me as original request, also - It would be nice if user "1" is always excluded by default.
