I've also thought of other areas where a module like this could come in handy, like music or literature - or any field of interest for a collector-type person. Being a record collector myself, I'd love to see a music version of this module...
Now i use this module (really greate module) to make a database for music and tourist database. I just translate into russian some fields (using poedit)
and now i need a help. i want to use moviedb module+musicdb module (translated moviedb) in one site. and i want to creat the second & the third field "actors" with all options of this field (comma separated etc...). pls f1 how can i create this type of field

Yea, I'm thinking that the best way is too use the CCK module. I am going to base my work on my game database from this Vidcast on using the CCK module: http://drupal.org/node/200657
It's a real pity there isn't any community work into some sweet modules which would make a gameDB type website.

Sophia commentedSame here, actually, modifying the fields and being able to add some would do the trick (imho, I might be wrong) :)

Eep² commentedA generic database module would be the way to go, I think.
