NYplanet.org - feedback please

PROS:
- nice idea, to connect people from one city. sounds great to me :)
- the whole section with places and events, just keep adding events as they come
- i love the map that shows connections between users. which module r u using for that?
- u offer a lot of functions at your website, why don't you promote them at the homepage so that the users know why to register?

CONS:
- i find the homepage confusing since it contains so many information at one place, perhaps you might try to simplify it
- nice logo but shouldnt it remind users of New York (?)
- the poll at homepage - the current question has no relations with the mission of your site :)
