Hi everybody!
I would like to include a powerpoint slide show in the site. Any pointers will be apreciated. Thanks.

This is something I did that worked for another website. I used the latest OpenOffice.org to open the PowerPoint, and then saved it as a Flash presentation. I then added the Flash version of the PowerPoint to the website. Its not very elaborate, but it works.

There are probably better ways of doing it, but that one was easy since I already had OpenOffice.org installed,

If you are not familiar with OpenOffice.org, it is an office suite similar to Microsoft Office, except its free and open source.

Their website, if you haven't guessed, is http://www.OpenOffice.org

(Side Note: They call their product OpenOffice.org to remind people of their domain name because there is a squatter on OpenOffice.com and people were getting confused.)

Many thanks for your insight. I am still trying to get slides change as in slide show. Now they required clicking to advance. In any case my gratitude for your help.

I am a rank novice, non-programming, 67 year old senior. I have been helped by Drupal community at every step. Therefore my appreciation.

I usually use online slide show services for presentations. For example to create slide shows for images a very good site is http://www.rockyou.com
For pdf and ppt good is http://www.slideshare.net . After creating your show you can use the embeed code or the code for severel type of blogs that dont support flash
