Issue Summary
Usually at the first time on a session that I click "contact the author" /user//contact I go to /user/
Also, if the user dont have his personal contact form enabled, a page not found error is raised

Hmm, I wonder if this was related to this (now fixed) bug, http://drupal.org/node/122430.
The code tests to see if the user has enabled the contact form so we shouldn't get this access denied, unless maybe the user is anonymous and therefore doesn't have access to the contact page.
