I have a user reference field on a content type. When the user types into the field, an autocomplete appears using the users Real Name.

However, once the content is submitted, the field with the user name link does not show the Real Name, but the user name. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Interestingly, I was just looking at that. function _user_reference_get_user_names() does a direct query to the user table.

Dave, what code do I need in order to get that fixed? I'll be happy to open an issue on References.

Upgrade references to 7.x-2.x-dev - 2011-Dec-22, and it does work.
