It's really important to provide more information when you ask for help. What is storylink? which package is it coming from? what r u trying to do?

I'm just gessing, with "storylink" you mean a node type created by vote_storylink module in vote_up_down package. If this is the case, then in order to achieve what you want, you have to copy node-storylinke.tpl.php from vote_up_down directory to your theme directory.

Its in the theme directory but it's still not working.

Upload the node-storylink.tpl.php and template.php to the directory of your theme. If you already have a template.php, you will have to merge them.

Never mind. It was the theme I was using.

I have the same problem. I tested this with the Bluemarine theme, and my default theme, Barron. No luck.
