Admin form-submit buttons including views buttons

Some buttons, especially those buttons inside my panels that has views (and filter exposed fields), e.g. buttons labeled 'Apply' (filters) do not assume the button css declarations (from contrast style.css), hence, they appear as plain text only (no colors, bgs, etc..) Other buttons appear ok. This also appears in some other forms like in this page: http://localhost/mysite/admin/build/themes, the 'Save Configuration' and 'Reset to Defaults' buttons are in plain text. Same goes with other parts in the administration.

Please help.
