I'm probably missing something obvious here, but I don't seem to be able to get the label text of "search" on the custom search block to translate in to Spanish. I've tried doing this through site building > translate interface > search, as well as trying with string overrides. Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong.

Same problem here. The site building > translate interface > search tool keep my translations in memory but does not use it at all.
