the gear is gone. I'm not sure what I've done to cause this to happen so I'll provide what I've gathered to be relative data.

acquia-marion 6.x-2.0, the "Display block configure links for administrators." is turned on in fusion core.
skinr 6.x-1.0
jquery ui 6.x-1.5
jquery jQuery UI 1.6

So the gear to customize the block is gone and I'm not sure what I did to break it. It was there and now it's gone.

Would appreciate help in getting this problem solved.

Turns out the "gears" isnt an option on the theme I used. I upgraded themes and it works as expected. I juggled a few themes when trying to make my decision and I'm sure one of those had the gear and I just assumed it would be there going forward.

I've chosen this older theme b/c of the many regions it has.

so did you switch to a theme other than acquia marina? do you have the skinr UI turned on in the modules page?
