I've noticed that once I have saved an image inside a blog post, that if I return and resize the image that it still retains its initial dimensions. In preview mode the image looks as it should be, but when viewing the published version its dimensions remain at their original settings.

Has anyone else had this problem?

IMCE is not involved in displaying images in content. Make sure your selected input format allows the style attribute that your content editor adds in the markup.
