I have tried everything that I can think of, but cannot stop the WYSIWYG editing window on a site I am developing from resizing itself to fit the text in the post. If the text is 10,000 words, the window resizes automatically to display them all! Editing in that manner becomes arduous, since one must do an awful lot of scrolling to get back & forth from the text to the editor command buttons.
Below are the modules I am using on the site. The WYSIWYG module is one version old, because I backed up to that version, which did not solve the problem.
The theme is Danblog, but the problem persists with Garland also.
Suggestions are appreciated!

twodIs the Autoresize plugin checked under "Buttons and plugins"?
Which version of TinyMCE are you using?

wmfinck commentedSorry this took me so long to get back to. Too busy with other projects. I am using TinyMCE 3.2.7.
Wow. I have this module installed on several sites and never ran into this before.
I have customarily always checked ALL buttons & plugin options except BBCode and Safari. (A "select all" option here would be a timesaver!)
I just turned off the "auto resize" option and the problem disappeared. If this option is new, it blindsided me!
Sorry to bother you, this fixed my problem, Thank you for your project, your time, and your response!
