hello all-

running drupal 4.5- everything looks and works good-
i have installed drupal before- this is a fresh install of 4.5.

problem is- image galleries don't seem to be accessible
to anonymous users-
although the individual images (nodes) are.

personal galleries is disabled- and i have the proper permissions
set i thought for users in image module settings.

i can see the image galleries if i am logged in as an authenticated user-
but not just browsing the site anonymously.

i'm thinking this may have to do with either the:

1- http://www.drupalsitehere.com/image

and / or

2- http://www.drupalsitehere.com/image/tid/4

URLs that are created by the image gallery primary menu link (#1)-
and the image gallery block (#2)-

and that somehow the "../image" url in #1-
and the "../image/tid/" url in #2-

that are handled by the image module to resolve to the image galleries main page in #1-
and the actual gallery in #2-

is the culprit here... meaning that somehow do permissions need to be changed-
on the modules directory-
to allow anonymous users to see these image galleries- and the main image gallery page of course...

please advise and thanks-

I had this problem and it turns out that is a bug in the current image module thats available. Has been fixed in the cvs version which u can get from http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/contributions/modules/image/image.module?rev=1.134

Once you have downloaded and installed it you will have to alter the permissions again to allow guests to view the galleries.

hello and thanks-
i simply replaced the image.module for drupal 4.5 with the latest version that you recommended (image.module 1.134)- and it works great.
