When there is only 1 image in the galleria the image will not show up.
I noticed that there is already a patch for this, but only for the next version.
Is there a patch for 6.x-1.0
Everything works fine for more than a year but now that I want to give some users access for this feature I think that they will not understand where their image went. As I know this issue I use at least 2 images. I was also thinking to give a warning in the node " use at least 2 images ! " but with a patch it would be better.

The 6.x version of this module is no longer officially maintained, so I doubt anyone will backport the patch, sorry.
