Last week, Ben and I were talking about the best next steps to add configuration & more usefulness to this module. We agreed that encoding based on a user-configurable filesize was the best next step. That's done. He mentioned a few other steps, but I closed IRC before I could save the transcript :/. So, I'd like to open it up to see if there are any thoughts about what the next best step is. I do remember we discussed things like browser/OS sniffing, different themes for different platforms (like mobile) and including a pseudo "image style" so images could be encoded based on a style preset rather than a global filesize setting.
Thoughts?

Seiken commentedI found this module may useful for thumbnails since Drupal lack of image style management features(actually I found this module by a search for that). Maybe you could have a rebuild option to generate images under defined path so you havn't bind it to any upload scripts, and index the styled images with the original path.
