I am wondering if anybody did an import from an old site, different video module, etc...
Our site (ibc.lynxeds.com) currently has over 50.000 videos, with their .mp4 (x264) version and some thumbnails (this can be regenerated). It won't be a problem to re-generate all videos, specially if we need to create webm versions and others. Original video folder is over 500Gb.
I am looking at the migrate module, but would if anybody made a similar process please share it here.

There is no upgrade path. I think you need to write something yourself. Considering the age of this issue, I think this issue can be closed.
