Hi, I've posted about this in the past when my established and very active audio site was running 4.6, but even since upgrading to 4.7 the issue still crops up some of the time.
Basically, some audio nodes uploaded by my users are appearing multiple times (usually 2x , but sometimes 3x) on the audio listings overview page.
I cannot personally recreate the problem with my own uploads, and have noticed that while seemingly random, it does appear to happen with specific users more often. I have been unable to determine what it is that they are doing which is causing it.
For example, one recent user has uploaded about 5 tracks, and every single one hes uploaded appears multiple times on the /audio overview page.
However his personal "recent audio files" overview page does NOT display multiple identical tracks... this must be a clue as to what is happening?
Another point is that the multiple listings on the /audio overview page have identical stats etc as well - number of plays/downloads/comments etc are all identical. If I delete or alter one of the listings, its identical copies are also deleted or altered.
Anyone know whats happening?

mediafrenzy commentedThis problem of duplicate audio node listings on the /audio overview page is continuing. Does anyone even have any theories as to what might cause this to happen?

drewish commentedhave you tried double posting? like submitting an upload waiting a second and then submitting it again? that might do what you're describing...

mediafrenzy commentedYeah I have tried that, thinking that perhaps these guys are double clicking everything, as some less savvy people do. But I couldn't manage to recreate it.
It does look like its something user specific though, as certain users somehow manage to regularly do it, while most others have no problem.

mediafrenzy commentedi've just tried to recreate the issue again, both in Firefox2 and in IE6, by double and triple clicking the submit button on a couple of new audio nodes, but it didn't get duplicated. They worked fine.
Thing that seems strange to me is that as far as I can see its only on the audio overview page that these "duplicated" audio nodes are listed. If you click the users "latest audio..." link, each track is listed only once as it should be. And as I also mentioned earlier, if one of the duplicates is deleted, they both vanish. Same with editing them.
