First, i would like to give a BIG thanks to the Drupal community who helped me in my journey, the late hours, sometimes not even eating, and my girlfriend even broke up with me for a while, cuz i ignored her calls!! We are back, now. Why? Because i was trying to understand how Drupal works... and especially the Views module! I think it paid off. I am still a newbie, though.

I believe i have done a good job, the result, http://youfolder.com.

If you have an interest in the Hispanic community in Canada or what to learn more about Canada thru the eyes of the latin people, you are welcome to join.

My previous web site, http://tecito.com, powered by Coldfusion, hand-coded 100%, is now powered by this smart and inteligent CMS...Drupal. It was a smart switch.

I would like to hear some feedback, any suggestions or comments to improve my web site, is much appreciated!

P.S. Lately, the site has been going down very so often, supposedly, to power outage...hosted at DH.

Update: Youfolder.com no longer exists, the site's new owner is redirecting it elsewhere.

You site looks very nice.
I noticed that though your site is mostly Spanish, there are several "normal" terms (like "Add comment") that only show up in English. It may be that your Spanish .po file was out of date, or that for some reason the import under Administer > Site configuration > Localization didn't work properly. You might want to take a look at it.
Overall though it looks great. It gives me hope!

yes, certain words will remain in english, it may sound funny if trarnslated to spanish. I am still working on some details and features. Initially i had the Internationalization module enabled, somehow, it complicated to manage it, i just use the Local module to translate some strings. thanks for your feedback.

1. http://youfolder.com/feedback : what module did you use for this? I wonder how you were managed to add phone number and fax number into the contact page

Questions 1: I used the feddback module, its still in development, however, its working fine for me: http://drupal.org/project/feedback You are able to enter any info on top to display with this module.

Question2: No modules used for the weather thing.
I created a block and pasted the flash code from the weatheroffice web site. After that i load it in the panels module.

Really, nothing magic here, i just used the Panels module, twocols. I created several views, then load them in the panels module.

I changed some css in the panels, because it was giving me a lot of space around each side, and in between, at times, uneven display of my views and nodes.

By reducing the margin and padding it the twocols.css, gave me the look and feel i needed.
