Hi,

I am using Omega 6.x-1.0 for my Drupal test site. I can't find and relate documentation on adding new zone/region.
Base on the 2.0 documentation, I can see the regions in my .info file but how do I add zone to it? The page.tpl.php also looks different.

Can anyone help?

this is NOT major.

as of the following, there will be no documentation for that. i have never used 6.1

the D6 version will soon be unsupported, and no new features will be added to it.

For new projects, D7 is the way to go. And a D6 subtheme can replace any template files markup to be HTML5/responsive/whatever.

Only a critical or security issue fix will ever go back to the D6 version.
