Working with the category module and have pathauto, views installed. When I change the weighting using outline, it works fine but the new ordering does not show on the front page. Is there another parameter or setting I have to set somewhere?

When I set up the categories originally, I did not set the weighting, just left it at 0.

Also, what are the negative weight numbers used for? (-1, -2 etc.)
