Hello,
the Addthis toolbar/button doesn't show up anywhere in my site, I checked for permissions (only an administrator permission is available) , nothing appears regarding it in the content type work flow.
It also doesn't appear in the block either, the block appears but its black inside.
if anyone can shed some light that would be awesome.

les limAre you installing this new or upgrading from a previous installation?
Are you configuring it from "Admin" > "Site configuration" > "AddThis"? If so, what options are you using?
Also, if you could provide a link to a page where the malfunction is happening, that would be helpful.

dtvnews commentedSame problem when
xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml"added to html. If not, it works. But we need that code 'cause of addthis analytics...Comment #3

timtunbridge commentedHi - a client of mine has just reported missing buttons too. They are missing from all the individual pages and content type pages e.g. http://www.brooksanctuary.org/events/weeding-planting or http://brooksanctuary.org/about
The buttons are however still appearing on the home page which is handled by a manually coded block.
Both live and test versions of the site have the same issue - seems to have crept in over the past few weeks.
I think there might be some conflict involving Facebook because when I run the pages through Firebug (on Safari), Firebug interjects with a reference to fb-root in the addthis_widget.js file, but I don't really understand what its referring to, and the page seems to hang at that point.
I'm using 6.x-3.0-beta1.
Regards
Tim

les limI committed a patch just now that moves the AddThis script execution to the footer. It should be repackaged as the latest 6.x-3.x-dev version with an August 5 date. This might resolve the conflict with Facebook Like and the use of the xmlns:fb namespace, but I'd appreciate it if a few people could test it and report back here.

dtvnews commentedNow it's ok when use the xmlns:fb namespace but in this case there is language detection problem for fb like, it shows up only in english, whitout it it's ok(in my case hungarian). And some other problems: google+1 only in english, counter_pill resets to zero(since version beta2), the widget is not in the links section.

les lim@dtvnews: it sounds like the original issue is fixed, though. Could you open up new issues for these new problems so that others might be able to find them as well?
timtunbridge commentedYes that's fixed it for me too. Many thanks
Comment #12
clemens.tolboomCould you release this through a beta-3 perhaps :)
I have no links using the 6.x-3.0-beta2 so have to go back to 6.x-2.10 to have something stable right?

gisleThis bug report 5 years old and is about an outdated version of the module. I have not seen this problem when using the latest version (7.x-4.x).
Feel free to reopen if you can tell us how to reproduce this with a clean install of AddThis 7.x-4.x.
