Hi all.
It appears that Drupal 7 may have amends made that simplify this issue; however, a lot of our clients sites remain on Drupal 6. I have done quite a bit of reading on this and rather than understanding the situation more, I feel the water has been muddied more so :S
We have a site in particular that contains views of the same content type and therefor contains the same Page Title and meta data for each query. Google is viewing each query as the same main level domain url and therefore we are getting hit for duplicity on these pages—even though the content in each view (list page), is different.
I have been unsuccessful even locating how to implement canonical urls!? Some of the older forum postings that I am seeing mention using nodewords; however, I cannot see any way to make Nodewords implement this functionality for me? The Canonical URL module has been deemed redundant and is no longer supported, so, can anyone help me out at all with implementing canonical urls for Drupal 6 sites. Seemingly plain and simple, though I have had no luck getting to the bottom of this…
Many thanks.
